Happy Hound Photography

Bettina is so talented! Her calm demeanour made it easy for our pup, Tymora to calm down and get some incredible shots that capture her spirit!!!

I had the absolute pleasure of having my dogs photographed by Bettina. When we arrived she allowed the dogs to explore the fenced in yard of her studio, knowing that they would be more comfortable and settled after exploring their surroundings. I was a little worried about my one dog, who is extremely sensitive and can be scared in new situations. But Bettina had treats waiting and suggested taking certain photos first, as some dogs become nervous only after a few shots and she wanted to ensure we got even a couple, if that turned out to be the case. Thankfully both dogs had no issues with the set up or lighting and we were able to have a successful shoot. Bettina has so much patience, which is a necessity when photographing animals. She allowed the dogs to just be dogs and took photos at the most opportune moments. I absolutely adore the photos she took and the lasting memories I now have of my two dogs. I would absolutely recommend Bettina and Happy Hound Photography if you want some amazing photos of your happy hounds.

It was such an honour to have my little 6 months old Corgi puppy, Pika to be photographed by the incredibly talented Bettina from Happy Hound Photography! 📸🤩 Bettina has displayed remarkable patience despite my puppy’s initial nervousness! Not only did she create such a comfortable environment and amazing experience for him - she also skillfully captured incredible shots that truly reflect the essence of my pup's personality. I never knew his eye could sparkle like how it was captured in the photos! 🤩 I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to capture special moments with their furry companion. Bettina was patient with my dog, Cypress, from the moment we met! She allowed Cypress to sniff around and get comfortable before taking photos. She could tell when he was getting overwhelmed and offered a break in between photos. I highly recommend Bettina!

An amazing experience doing a photoshoot with my Noodle! 🐱 Bettina was very patient as photographing a cat is so different … we could not get Noodle to sit!!! Or stay!!! 😄 With her creative perspective she asked me to hold her and we ended up with these amazing shots. Bettina is a very talented photographer with an eye for details and the right time and expressions. She truly captured the essence of these fun moments we had in her studio. Needless to say she has a gift with animals and is able to connect with them quickly. It was a memorable experience and I can’t wait to have her photograph Noodle and I again.
